...it and use it later? I just replaced a printer cartridge by mistake, I thought it had run out but I inserted the old one back just to test and it's printing... Did I damage to newly refilled cartridge?

And by opening I meant removing the cover of the cartridge. Common sense tells me it should be fine but I haven't done something like this before so I'm asking here.
