If I uninstall, then reinstall my iTunes, will I lose all my music?

To add any more music to my ipod, apparently I have to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Will I lose all my music? Or will it be saved? My ipod isn't full either, something just went wrong with it, what, I don't know.
