If I want to buy a used Blackberry Storm 2 by Verizon Wireless from a friend, will I have to pay for a monthly data plan? They're SO friggin' expensive and with a baby I cannot exactly afford the extra payments right now =\
Yes all smartphones require a data plan. If you don't buy it Verizon will know your using a smartphone and will upgrade you to a data plan or keep bugging you till you do it. buy the cheapest data plan. Sorry.
