...of G-d and the eye to keep away envy?
I'm slightly confused here- I am ask a question about inherited superstition i.e. not walking under ladders etc and how my understanding is that although it is common is not permitted. So my question is about the Hamsa and the eye often found on the hamsa...or in Kabbalah store.... I was asking whether these are superstitious....these symbols are also used by the arab nations....please don't bother with silly answers thanks (yawn!)

I'm a Christian and if it wasn't for the Jewish people, retaining and sustaining the Bible (Old Testament Covenant account), we Christians would not have the opportunity to understand the NEW Covenant we embrace today. One cannot comprehend the New Covenant of the Holy Bible without that of the OLD Covenant. Much THANKS needs to be levelled at the Jewish people for their tenacity in being instruments in God's own hands in bringing us the foundation for our understanding of the spiritual Covenant in the light of the OLD physical Covenant for which we would or could never comprehend without it.
