If my lizard gets hungry enough will it eat out of its dish?

hey guys i have 3 blue tongued lizards and i regularly handfeed them but i M trying to get them to eat on there own so would they eat out of there dish if they get hungry enough or will they wait for me to handfeed them.
 
If they get hungry enough they will find the food in the dish, to get them used to it try putting the dish close to them or place them near the dish so they can see there is food in there, eventually they will learn to feed by themselves.
