If our cat died in the house, would our other cats notice?

My cat dissapeared 4 days ago. We are pretty sure he ran away, but I have this paranoia that he crawled into wall or something and died there. We have looked everywhere in the house and haven't found anything, and my other cats seem to acting normal. I'm just wondering if something did happen to my cat, would the other cats be hanging around where they think he is? Or lead me to him if he's still in the house? (Although I'm hopeful he ran away and is fine somewhere or will return!)

if I was them, I'd be avoiding whatever spot he was in. I'd also think you would have heard him making quite a racket if he was somewhere within the house. hope your cat comes back!
