Because by the teachings of the Old Testament, no one could get into Heaven, because everyone would have sinned before death since their last sacrifice. So yes, the person would still go to Heaven. The reason we still need to repent as Christians is because if we don't admit our mistakes they will fester inside us and grow into bigger sins, and lead us away from the path of Christ.</p></blockquote><p></p>
