a.mental functions and physical functions are interdependent
b.physical functions affect mental functions
c.mental functions and physical functions are independent
d.mental functions affect physical functions
 
When they are arguing that there is only the "physical" brain, I believe they are talking more on a physical/spiritual sort of argument, not physical/mental. However, if I am incorrect, and they believe that there is a separation between physical and mental, well then there really is no arguing with/convincing someone that blind, is there?
