If someone is driving my car with a suspended licence and gets into a accident [in ontario] what happens with my insurance?
but what if he didn't know that his licence was suspended... (the person that drove the car)?
You are shit out of luck. Your insurance wont cover a non-licensed driver.
Call me a prick but i only let very few people drive my cars. My mom and my girlfriend (they rarely drive mine as they have their own cars) and my friend who is a mechanic and does alot of work on my cars for me. He only drives it while working on it. Nobody else has any reason to be driving my cars so they need not even ask.
Lending your car out to people is such a risk. If they wreck it they wont pay to get it fixed, if they injure someone with it you will be liable. Really-dont take that risk.
