We have witnessed in the news of the brutal deaths of infants and toddlers. Just today in Shelby, NC a mother and her husband ( the step-dad) was arrested for the brutally beating of her two year old son. The toddler was described as a beautiful, happy and loving little boy. Both adults beat the toddler in the head causing him to have severe head trauma. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital and there was reports of previous child abuse to him. I am so sick to my stomach what is happening to these babies. I feel that the justice system lets these innocent lives down by giving their killers life in prison instead of the death penalty. When someone takes a childs life, and is found guilty without a doubt, I feel that they should be put to death immediately. They should not be able to appeal. I know that alot of you will probably say that is no reason to take another life. But I feel it is. When you beat a defenseless infant to death you should be beat to death as well or hanged until dead. Not die by lethal injection, or put in prison for tax payers to keep your ass up until you die. That is what is why so many people kill these babies because they know they can get away with it and they will only get life in prison. I know I am venting off, but I am hurting for this innocent baby. My heart feels like it is tearing apart because he could not defend himself. When it showed his mother being arrested for his death there was not a tear in her eye! I say, bring back death to those who hurt our children and their own. They do not deserve to live.
