If you pre-order a book and the book gets pushed back what do you do?

I ordered Michael Vick's Limited Edition "Finally Free" book back in July. I love sports and Mike Vick has been my favorite player since his collegiate days, So I thought this would be a great book for me to buy but the book was pushed back soon after with no release date. Its now December and I have heard nothing. Did i just flush $100 down the toilet?
