Good thing is is that you can match these subs with any amplifier that can output 1000wrms @ 0.5ohm (for wiring all coils parallel to the amplifier) or @ 2ohms (for wiring subs in series/parallel) and have an excellent sound. Recommended brands are Alpine, MTX, RF and Jaycar. But these are just a personal preference.As for the CD player, yes you can use ANY cd player including factory installed varieties, it's just that aftermarket ones have pre-out's and are much easier to use.Good luck,Ben</blockquote>
