I want to convert to modern orthodoxy. How often would I have to go to classes? The nearest synagogue is about 50 mins away and I would have to make many transport changes which is quite difficult. I'll be moving closer in about 2/3 years time but I don't want to wait that long. I'm prepared to travel.
Also how do I tell my parents? My mum already knows that I'm very interested in Judaism since I have been researching myself for quite a bit now but how do I tell her that i'm converting? She's catholic and has always wanted for me to be too but i've always hated it.
I'm not asking my parents for permission, I'm old enough I do not need permission. I need to TELL them not ASK.
