I'm going on vacation for a week,what do i do with my hamster?

I am going to Seattle,Washington on July 4th 2010 but i have a hamster.I kno that allz u have to to is feed him one in the morn and once at night,clean the tank once a week,and make sure ha ALWAYZ has clean water.
P.S :I have fam that could possibly take care of him but should i bring the tank to their house?
