I have just bought a iPhone 4 off ebay the phone is brand new and hasn't been activated. it was an upgrade from vodafone to the person I bought it off. I thought since its a contract upgrade it would accept any sim. I'm on o2 I haven't got a micro sim either so ive managed to cut another o2 sim card down and fit it in the iPhone and I've got the message The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported. So does that mean the phone will only accept vodafone then? and can I get it unlocked so it will accept my o2 sim?
