Im having trouble putting music on my lg optimus gt540?

Hello all,

I have an lg gt540 and im trying to put music from my computer onto it.
I have the appropriate cord for it but when i click on the cord in "my computer",
It tells me:" There is no disk in drive F" what does that mean and how do i resolve it?

Ps: I have an sd card in my phone but not the usb adapter for it.
