Well, in popular culture the word 'ollie' is often interpreted as a skateboarding trick, in which the participant of the sport and his accompanying skateboard lift up off the ground for a substantial period of time. Therefore, i may suggest that the best place for you to carry out this action is at a skate park, but i'm sure your back garden would do just fine.
