coffee, regular and decaf
hot water for tea and cocoa
tea bags and cocoa packets
ice water
cups
napkins
plates
cheese cubes
apple slices
crackers
cream cheese, plain and/or flavored
hummus
bagels (variety) cut into quarters
chunks of fruit (pineapple, mango, grapes, melon, etc.) with toothpicks
chunks of vegetables (celery, carrot, tomato, pepper, jicama, etc.) with dip or tzatziki
sandwiches (egg salad, pimento cheese, etc.) on a variety of bread
roll-ups on 8" flour tortillas, halved (a good filling is 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup shredded carrot, 1/4 cup sliced green onion, 1 minced garlic clove, dash salt--mixed thoroughly and another is cream cheese mixed with minced olives)
small cookies and pastries
cheese biscuits or biscuits rolled in garlic butter and shredded cheese before baking

Be very careful not to have anything "hidden" that is a common allergen, such as peanuts or tree nuts or shellfish. Remember that many people do not eat meat for one reason or other. If an item has ingredients that are not apparent to the naked eye, LABEL the ingredients ("This cookie contains nuts," for example, or "These biscuit-bites contain sausage.")
