I've just finished college and now I'm moving out of my mom's house and into my first apartment. I have a siberian husky named Zoey and my mom and I agreed she would come with me. The apartment has a decent sized back yard, it's not just a small patio. There is also a nice enclosed field where I'll be able to allow Zoey to run around and play. But I've heard stories about Siberian huskies jumping fence, digging holes to escape, and act a bit wild. Zoey has always been calm and cool and even though I can't see her doing those things, at only 1 1/2 years old I'm scared maybe her disposition can change. Any advise?

it could adust but then again it may not but 80% he will adust and 20% that he wont

well.....it will be hard but as long as you take it for frequent runs/walks he should be fine and its great to have that fenced in yard and field but she wont jump any fences or dig holes UNLESS you leave her alone DO NOT leave her alone she will get separation anxiety

it would be quite an adjustment. husky's are known to have lots of energy. if you plan to leave her alone for long periods of time whereas before she would be with your mother, then she may end up doing these things. take her with you but have a neighbour check up on zoey every so often just to make sure she isnt getting into any trouble. and worst case scenario if things dont work out zoey can always stay with mom.
