So I've decided to move to Colorado Springs when I turn 18(3 years!)
To train at the Ice Hall for competitive figure skating. I'm soo scared though because I might have to do it all alone! I know my mom wouldn't go with me because we live all the way in California.
But nobody knows I'm going to move because I've just decided.
Anyway, to the questions:
1.) Is Colorado Springs a good place to live?
2.) Is it very costly or can someone in my position survive there with maybe a job teaching some figure skating classes and live in a small one bed. apartment?
3.) If you know where the Ice Hall is at the World Arena, are the houses/apartments nice enough for a single person to live or is it more of a family area? I probably won't have a car, so I'll have to walk and/or ride the city bus and need to live near the rink!
Please help me as best as you can. I really need it.
