however in five years or even three years, I want to work with a fashion magazine, by opening up a boutique, would that already be enough to work in a fashion magazine.

I've always wanted to work in fashion and have skills e.g. a degree which involves sales and marketing, accounts, personal and professional development for managers, managing people in practice. but it's not from a fashion degree. I am doing fashion design and pattern cutting and techniques now and I thought if I opened up the busines for a couple of years and then work in a fashion magazine, would that work?

You should always follow what your heart says. If you really like fashion and designing clothes, as you've mentioned in another question that I already answered, then you should open up your own boutique. You've got the talent to attract customers as I think you have a really good fashion sense. Also, I would like to say that my mother also has her own boutique and she's in great profits and having doing what she wanted to do in life, she's all the more satisfied now.

Everything would work. Be sure you're showroom is located in a good place. And always keep updating your designs in accordance with the latest fashion.

Always remember to spend wisely because my mother says that in this business whatever amount of money you spend, you always get twice or thrice of that back.

All the very best. Hope I helped.

Oh my Hun , you are living my dreams! I think you should see how the boutique goes before you do anything drastic, because the boutique might actually be a hit, and you wouldn't like to depress your fellow shoppers, would you?
