Im staring to mix up my reality with my dreams?

Lately, Ive had trouble distinguishing between the real world and my dreams when i'm sleeping. It first started out as for example: if I dream about moving an object lets just say headphones from point A to point B, when I wake up, I'd be confused as to where to find my headphones. I'm thinking if me moving my headphones to point B was a dream or reality. It's getting worse, Now complete conversations I have with people, i start wondering if i was dreaming when i had that conversation or not. Its totally bizarre! same thing with the things i eat, clothes i wear, etc. Ive always had great memory so i'm totally confused. What is happening to me? What might be causing this?

I had this happen to me, but I was drinking alot at the time so the answer was pretty obvious for me. Are you drinking, taking any medication, smoking weed, or anything like that? If you are, stop and you'll be able to tell the difference again. If your not doing any of those thing, good for you. As for your problem, try writing down your dreams. Keep paper by your bed and write the dreams down as soon as you wake up. This ritual should help separate the memories of your dreams from the memories you create in the waking world.

dreams can seem quite real when you're in them. and different things that happen can represent other things that need to be done. but this is kinda freaky in that you're thinking about "normal" everyday things and life and you're finding you remember doing things that never really happened because they were in your dreams.

dreams can be about resolving issues in our lives, even simple things. and a lot of times the stuff we're thinking about before we go to bed are dreamt about because our brains are trying to work them out, even mundane daily life issues. so thinking about eating certain foods or wearing certain clothes is just your mind thinking about things. stuff you'd like to do when you are in reality. it's no big deal, but i can see how it's making you freak out a little bit. your mind is just wanting to follow through with experiencing those things even though you didn't really do them (yet).
