I am 25 years old, and recently started having a lot of pain due to my wisdom teeth. I also get a lot of headaches that my dentist says is most likely from my wisdom teeth. My lower ones are both impacted. The ones on the top are bulging under my gums. I am terrified of having them removed. i'm the type that like to know how things are done and know all the possible side affects... and there are sooooo many with this surgery. I could lose my sense of smell and taste, lose feeling in my tongue and lips and jaw... among other terrible things. How do I get over this fear? What were your personal experiences with this?
