Like I said, I'm 13 and whenever I try to swallow pills (medicine), I guess I psyche myself out or something, because my throat closes up, so that I can only swallow liquids. I've swallowed pieces of food bigger than the pills I have to take, but whenever I have to take pills, I just can't. Then, I end up having to chew them, which is completely disgusting. I've practiced on M'M's; putting them on the back of my tongue and taking a gulf of water, but it never works. Part of me thinks I'm going to choke. My mom even called me a baby. Does anybody have any ideas to help me learn?
