I'm worried my new cat is not getting proper nutrition.?

I adopted a beautiful, 1 and 1/2 year old long-haired gray and white cat a week ago, and she's doing well but I have been forced to feed her real fish and chicken. She won't eat the dry food I had, and I bought the food she had supposedly been eating at the Pet Center (Chicken Soup for the Soul Cat Food), but she doesn't seem to be eating that either. Today I brought her Newman's Own wet food, and she got excited when I opened it but I think she barely ate any. So far I have only seen her fully and happily eat grilled salmon and McDonalds chicken selects (I ate the breaded exterior, and she ate the chicken insides ;) So I have two questions:

1) How can I get my pretty new cat to eat dry cat food again?

2) If I only feed her real meat will she get proper nutrition? I have read that cats get calcium in the wild by digesting animal bones, and so they need mineral supplements in their food. So if I never feed her cat food will she get sufficient nutrition?

Cat food contains taurine, which cats need.
My cat recieves treats of chicken pieces and deli meat, but I would never feed it to him as his only diet.
Keep the people food as a treat.
Leave the dry food out for her to nibble on as she wants.
Stop giving her people food for awhile. She'll eventualy get hungry and eat the dry food.
Maybe even try mixing some meat pieces into the dry food.
