It works really fast and efficient. but when it comes down to transfering files, it takes forever to move/copy files from an external hard drive to its internal hard drive. for instance, I downloaded a 4gb file on my windows 7 laptop and copied it to an external hard drive and tried to copy the file to my iMac so I can have a local access to it since I use the iMac as a home network server. however, it took it literally 2 hrs to copy the entire file.
