In between oil changes I have to refill my car with 1-2 quarts of oil....

...What could this mean? My car has 116,000 miles on it & it is not leaking oil. Does this mean it is burning the oil? It seems to burn oil faster if I drive on the freeways. If it is burning oil, what can I do about it?
 
yes you are burning oil and that mean your motor is due for a rebuild..

yes it running fine, and i know today no one has 2 grand in the bank to burn on a new motor. upgrade to a better Quality of oil like Valvoline max life or any high mileage oil that should help. or change to a 10w40 oil ..
