In Vegas on vacation i payed for shoes then returned home to Canada, but

they were left out of my bag! Help!? I'm from Atlantic Canada, where the shopping sucks. Any chance i get to go to Urban Outfitters, my favorite store, is so exciting for me. So while in Vegas i basically spent all of my money there and was very excited about it. At the cash, the cashier told me she was just waking up ( it was 5:30pm) and gave me 20 dollars extra change (i gave it back.) I payed, and an hour later jumped on my plane home. Well now i see she left one of the items out of my bag, a pair of shoes i was so excited for. My reciept shows that i paid for them. she just forgot to bag them! I am SO upset and i feel helpless. Is there anything i can do? I am 16 and without credit card, but even if i used my parents the shipping to canada costs MORE THAN THE SHOES. Is there anything I can do to get my shoes? Or at least my money?
 
eek. That's rough since you paid cash. Try calling the store and telling them your story. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll pay for the shipping since their employee left them out of your bag.
Talk with a manager and sound really upset as it soulds like you are anyhow. Don't yell at the manager just sound like you are the verge of crying. Maybe you could tell them you can fax the copy of the receipt. Also they may have codes on the shoes that they would enter when purchased and if they are still in the store you'd be golden.
