In what part/when would i incorporate cranberry glaze in this dish?

So i watched iron chef a few months ago and mario batali made a dessert called zuppa inglese aka english trifle. I've figured out how to make everything but when and where to add the cranberry glaze to the d essert. Can someone help me? (minute 9:25) There's other videos specially part 2 and 3 where they show how to make the curds, the creme anglais and the bread + whipped cream but dont show when they incorporate the glaze and to what or if its just a topping
