If it was a child, yes. The age does not matter, but the way you explain it does. I would kindly explain some stuff, most likely tell them they have a cute dog... but I wouldn't change the fact I would just explain less "harshly" 9/10 better chance if they brought it up. Different with adults? Of course. Adults should know better anyways. But if it was somebody I don't know, I wouldn't be hesitant about it. I do have a part-time job at our Shelter and a Vet.. so there I would definately talk to people about it. I would say something. "Breeding is for breeders, let them do their job." If they weren't a reputable breeder, and if they were of course they would test them I'd definitely hope so! No, I don't... And honestly I don't care. Some strangers, even I answer people who are getting from ByB's and ripped off on here who need "help".. I say what I want.. and not hesitant about it. Depending upon the situation. If a Teen or Adult had a pup and got it from a ByB or bad breeder even, I would confront them and ask about it. How a poorly bred mutt is doing in their house, how the Vet stuff is, etc. GOOD Breeding in public, well I don't feel as strong against it cause I wouldn't have my dogs I do today without it! It's just the irresponsible ones that need to find a different hobby. A local maybe meeting about them. People outside ranting about them. Someone complaining about the pup, I wouldn't feel bad for them saying it was their responsibility to pay attention to wherei t is. Aren't? I don't know as I see no problem in to telling people and helping them in a way. I'm only 17 and not good at writing stuff :P, sorry if this confused you! "In what situations, do you/would you start ranting about BYBs and designers dogs and bad breeding in public?" >>>Any chance I get that is proper.
