In what ways is Hinduism similar to and different from the Hewbrew faith of Judaism?
To anyone who knows anything about judaism or Hinduism.
I know judaism centers around one god, is hinduism polytheistic?
Just tell me all you know.
Please, real answers...

Hinduism can be both poly and monotheistic, Judaism is monotheistic.H- reincarnation, join shiva. J go to heaven, no hell.

It's "Hebrew," first of all, which is a language not a people group that's still around today. Hinduism is monistic, and the Kabbalah, which is practiced by Hasidic Jews in particular and by many other Orthodox and non-Orthodox Jews, has a similar panentheistic conception of G-d. Kabbalah also has gilgul neshamot, the transmigration of souls, although, unlike in Hinduism, people always reincarnate as other people (not as other animals), and it's not a negative thing. The point is a striving toward perfection. Not all Jews, however, accept gilgul neshamot; the Dor Daim, a group of Yemenite Jews, are actively antithetical to any Kabbalistic concepts.
