..."ranting or insulting content"? Even when it is backed-up with links and empiric evidence.
Since when is analyzing sexuality insulting?

Thanks for your answers.
[This question will self-destruct in 10,9,8.......]

just ignorance at its finest.

I forgot to add, it's also a lament of a rejected and bitter man such as yourself.

YA is not a democracy, and they have a short hook on questions that are even a little bit questionable.

I personally find it rather insulting, but I would not report you for asking it, especially if your provide good evidence.

Don't sweat it too much when you get reported. It's more or less random unless you're a complete troll. I'm often amazed by what I say that does or does not get deleted.

If you ranted about this subject, then yes, it's a rant.

The argument doesn't make any sense though. Only women can consider weather or not they have lesbian tendencies. Guys don't have any consideration on this issue at all. (Though we can enjoy thinking about it.) I've looked into the rumors though, (and my brother actually has links) and it turns out that women don't all have "lesbian tendencies". What they have is an easily activated sex drive. It turns out women are turned on by sex, no matter who is involved. The sex institute recorded the same vaginal response from women who watched hot guys, hot women, animals, and a list of other sex related things, and even objects. They are tuned on by sex, not by women (Of course I'm talking about body response, not romantic interest or willingness/consent) .

I don't really think that is true though. The one link you post most often I feel is biased because the researcher is a lesbian or bisexual, and in a discipline as opposed to science, there is too much leeway to allow for a false interpretation of the data.

Women do seem to have more fluidity to their sexuality than men do though. Maybe you should say "bisexual tendencies" because isn't that more accurate? Most women I've ever met didn't ever have sexual relations or attractions to other women. This phenomenon is something related to feminism, the sexual revolution and the gay rights movement. Women are more malleable and labile than men, so if you brainwash them from an early age that lesbianism (feminism) is the natural state of a woman, then a fair number of girls will fall for that line of BS.

judging by what I've seen at dance clubs, young women are either raving lesbos or they pretend to be to rile up the men, which is very insulting, to me anyway.

no

assuming everyone is straight is insulting though

anyone who is condescending enough to be *insulted* by being mistaken for gay is a prejudiced homophobe

I have never been insulted when someone assumed I was straight .... unless she just presumed she could 'convert' me then it got irritating

Why would any woman be insulted for being mistaken as gay? That is a HUGE slap in the face to gays!

No. The only women who have lesbian tendencies are bisexual women or lesbians.

This is a question I asked. You don't need to ask these questions anymore. It's over.

You are free to think as you choose even if it is incredibly misguided. Perhaps you inadvertantly insulted someone personally? Who knows. And really, who cares. This is just the internet afterall.
