What could the possible reasons be for about a 2 inch cut/slash being on the inner sidewall of the front drivers side tire? I stopped at a rest stop area to meet up with someone and after about 30 minutes I walked back to my car and noticed it was flat. I got my portable compressor and inflated the tire back up and heard it leaking when I disconnected it. I felt around and inspected the tire and saw no damage to the tire. I didn't have my phone one me so I calculated the rare of deflation..filled up the tire and floored it down the highway at 85 until I was nearly back home..I stopped and checked and it was once again low but not as as flat as before. I pulled into a stores parking lot and got some slime crap thinking it was just a tiny hole that I couldn't see..of course it didn't work so I filled up the tire again and made it home. I was going to wait until the morning to remove and see if It needed to be plugged but I decided to check it sooner than that. When I removed the tire I looked all around and couldn't find any damage whatsoever until I rested it face down and noticed the wet spot from the slime. The slashes were not straight however by pulling back some of the rubber it was clear it was from the outside. The only other possible outcome was i had left my car at my mom's place while doing brake work and I had the tires off and her asshole boyfriend was around at the time. I had to leave my car there for a few days while I waited for corrected parts to come. So anyway if the cuts weren't done by a person what could of been the reason for the slash on the inner sidewall? There was no signs of the tire rubbing anything as there wasn't anything missing nor were there any other cuts.

Thanks.

PS. if you're going to troll about the 85 on a bad tire...go die in a fire, ok? What was I supposed to do? I had to get home
