Hey all, I have ubuntu (netbook) installed on my usb using http://www.linuxliveusb.com/ they have a small section detailing compiling code (http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/faq-general/86-compile-from-sources.html) which I have a feeling I may have to use.. I am getting k3b from (http://k3b.plainblack.com/download) but for version 2.0 they only have the source. I have downloaded the source, and extracted the archive. but following the install instructions on the site do not work (guessing cause of differences between v1 and v2. if I do su -c "make install", I get asked for root/su password, however on this linuxlive, there is not password set, and entering a blank password returns an error I would like to be able to have k3b as a executable installer (rpm or whatever), as using sudo apt-get install k3b, Im not sure which version will get installed, and it makes it easier when I redo my ubuntu install to install it from a file instead of using sudo apt-get every time I change my install/Persistence
