really took action? By this, I mean primarily doing something about the ever-increasing consolidation of power in a select few hands...as far as I understand, neither liberals nor conservatives should support this.

It started with Reagan, really picked up steam under Clinton, went on steroids under Bush, and though I'd like to believe Obama would act differently if he could, he can only do so much for "the people" without losing his corporatist funding for the next election.

I would support the Tea Partiers 100% if they were not so partisan, only forming once Obama took office and carrying around ridiculous posters with him as Hitler and questioning his citizenship.

Tea Partiers!! If you actually did focus just on the issue of government spending by ALL PARTIES, the whole country would be behind you!!!!

And yes this could be seen as a rant, but a beneficial one. Deal with it.

Because 1/2 of us are liberal and half are conservative and we would just cancel each other out :)

And its alot easier to multi task writing reports and answering questions on YA

You cant do a job and do a lot of voluntary political activism

The Tea Party people are funded and organized through the Republican National Committee.
Yup, your tax dollars at work.
Kind of ironic isn't it.
