Interested in a Guy. How to approach him?

So I like this guy and hes perfect in every way. hes a very forward person although he is not rude or offensive and everyone likes him. I've liked him since the time i saw him when i was 12 not because he was good looking but that's just a bonus. I asked him out and he said no because we were really close as friends.

We're now 16 and he is really touchy but i love it. He practically hugged me and he held my hand and he practically got me against the wall and i did that to him. He isn't the type who wants to get in my pants. He has never made a move on me except the hugging thing. I'm not sure he likes me but he isn't like this with everyone.

He is really mature and so am i although he can act immature like everyone does. I don't want to be with him yet because i want it to last if we are together but i really want to know if he likes me and i want him to know i like him. Its not as easy as it seems to tell him. What should i do and how would i know he likes me?
I am very selective when it comes to guy and i know exactly who he hangs out with because i can always see him from where i hang out. He is a really close friend and fairly open with me. He is a bit of a redneck but i think its cute. He is really skinny and he has never had a girlfriend. he is not homosexual btw.

See People in your guys character are like bit cunning and they may have lots of girlfriends. The way they move with girls and guys are like hugging BUT there will be other side of them. There are people good in that character too.

In you above words I think he may have many friends. So check it out before you move with him. He may looks like rich, good looking , smiling character helps everyone But he must have some negative parts. Check it out...... properly. See i have learned some of this characters in psychology. Careful before you take any steps.

See i am looking for a girl too , I am little choosy of some kind. Everything depends on attitude and behavior

Smile when you see him, talk to him when you can, hang round him a bit...
If he hangs round you as well at least you know he thinks you're not too bad.
