You can't "Permanently" stop programs from "Not Responding".
If they aren't responding it means:
-Computer is sluggish with commands
-The bits and bytes are frozen/slow
-Processing still
-Frozen
I'd say depending on how good your computer's spec's are, upgrade/clean it up.
Try to have more memory available to visual elements, and try not to run to many programs at once.
It seems to me, that your:
-Running to many programs at once
-Computer can't keep up with processing the information
Also, sometimes programs just, "stop working". So what I do is:
1. Bring up Task manager.
2. Next go to the program running.
3. Right click it, and go to proccess.
4. The process/program should be highlighted. Go to end process.
5. Click okay.
This completely ends the program. So if you need to save whatever your doing, I hope you don't use that. I use that if I feel like my computer is going to freeze/program.
