What is the software that places like Kinkos, and CyberCafés use to tell/monitor when a computer is being used and calculate how long a customer/patron is on the computer, and how much they owe for it's use?
Someday (hopefully not too distant) in the near future, I hope/plan to start my own business - opening a specialty bakery & Internet/CyberCafé coffee shop.
So I'm doing research on what is the best/most reliable software available to use to monitor who is using the computers and when, and calculate how long any particular person is on a computer and how much they owe?
Also, if I get Wi-Fi at my business, is there a way to track who is using the network, keep unauthorized people from using it, and if I decide to charge for Wi-Fi (though I'm considering offering FREE Wi-Fi) is there any way to calculate how long they are using the network & charge for the time?
Lastly, what do you think is a fair charge for computer use?
I could really use some guidance here.
