I have a computer which i purchased from an independant computer store and do not no the model therefor cannot wipe the computer totally.

Basically I was browsing the web and my computer froze, i turned it off and back on, everything was fine, the only problem is that when i try to get onto internet explorer it opens for a split second then just disappears (without an error message)........ now i have FireFox *luckily* as a back up and it works fine so why not IE?. Any help would be very gratefully received and i would really like my explorer bakc up and running. (i am a bit of a "basic" computer user so if you could make it easy to understand) sorry lol.

you suck, be more high tech get google chrome >:( and all of those do that,kid... and get google chrome, its so much better, you can also view history easier, and it saves your most viewed in it...

Well your best bet would just be to keep firefox. It is 100 times more secure and advanced than Internet Explorer will ever be. It takes time to get used to it, but trust me it's better and more secure.
