My wireless broadband says 48mb/ps but that can't be right ... even if all I'm doing is downloading it doesn't go that fast. and my uni internet says 200kb/ps and it downloads really super fast !!!
what on earth??

that wireless speed is just for the local network not the internet up to my modem wired i can get up to 1,000Mb but my average int speed is between 4Mb and 23Mb.

48 mb/s is speed of router wireless signal, thats how much bandwidth the wireless has
this is ten connected to intnet and download speed is from company u buy internet from
btw their is a difference between megabytes and megabits (Google it)

just cuz its puting out 48Mb/s dont mean u got 48, i got 24 and my wireless is puting out 54Mb/s but im only useing wireless for my laptop the stationery uses cabel and cabel is faster then wireless
