Internet suddenly slower?

Well, yesterday my internet was fine, i could watch youtube videos in normal quality without ever having to buffer, if i give it a couple of seconds at the beginning. But around 9 Pm yesterday, the internet got disconnected. So, i went to bed, and now today, the internet is really slow. Even if i give a video about 4 minutes to buffer, I always end up catching up and having to wait again. Any reason for this? I use verizon if it helps
