Introduction to speech about humanitarian?

I'm writing a speech about a humanitarian named Dolores Huerta who made changes for farm workers and I need help with my introduction. I have a hook, now I just need to add on to it. Here's my first sentence:
Dolores Huerta has been arrested twenty-two times for non-violent union activities. What should I say next??? I'm stuck.
