My friend is having some issues about getting a new phone. She wants an iphone 3g, but says she can't afford a plan right now but has a prepaid simcard. (pay as you go, minutes and what not.) I was wondering if it's possible for her to be able to use her prepaid simcard plan with her iphone if she keeps getting the pay as you go card with the $20 for texting and $20 for the data? Also, I've heard that if you have a wifi router, you can just buy the iphone and then use the wifi for internet? I'm not sure about that, so I was just asking to make sure if you can or can't.
