Iphone 4 with T mobile sim card?

I want an iphone 4 but i have a t mobile contract & im not planning on changing it. So i was wondering if i could buy the iphone 4 and just put my t mobile sim card in it? is it possible or am i crazy? I read something about it online but i didnt do any further research.
 
Before put your T-Mobile sim card on your iphone 4 means,Make sure your iphone is unlocked one.If it's locked by some network carrier means,you will need to unlock your iphone.
