iphone 5 help!! (about pictures)?

i just got an iphone 5 and need to put pictures from my laptop to my phone. the problem is when i sync the folder "iphone pictures" from my laptop to my phone it syncs that folder plus another folder that says "photo library" i tried to press the edit button on my phone to delete one of them but it wont let me. i dont understand why its making my phone have 2 folders with the same exact pictures! i need to know how to sync my pictures to just 1 folder.

i guess you should send them by email
or just delete the picture or place them in a different folder
