Hey guys,
I've been looking for this specific info for hours now... Maybe you yahoo's can help! I'm on my 8gb iphone 3g and the memory is nearly full. I looked around and didn't see too much stuff cluttering the device.
Still, I went ahead and deleted apps, pics, vids and whatever else could free up space. I got to delete about 1.25 GB. Still I would like to free up more.
I had downloaded Offmaps a while back and had downloaded several maps in detail that require a lot of space. When I downloaded the program, I don't think I downloaded the maps, so they're somewhere in my phone! I really can't find them!
Also, I downloaded a program that can wipe away the free space. But would there be a program that could delete "solid data trash"??? What I mean by that is for example I was installing TomTom when I got a call suddenly and the installation cut short and didn't end. When I tried to reinstall, the phone had not enough memory left!!! Which means the insitial installation information is somewhere in the phone and I can't delete it! What to do?
Anyways, I'd really appreciate a heads up.
Phil
