Iphone is fucked!?! HELP ME PLEASE <3?

I was playing angry birds and my screen starting flickering black..then sections went completely black, until it faded completely away. It then become unresponsive but I could hear my push notifications going off.
I reset it using the top button and the home button and it helped at first but it continues to do it.
Sometimes It will recover without having to reset it, but other times not even a reset will help it and i just have to wait till it behaves.
This iphone 4 is not even a week old.
PLEASE can anyone tell me what is going on, or how to fix it WITHOUT having to leave the house?

Anyway, i do agree thats a worrying thing to be happening to your new iphone 4. You didnt suggest if it was jailbroken or not and if its an ipa or u got it from the app store. Software faults are always fixed by restoring in itunes whereby creating a backup first.
If its what i think it is it could be a hardware fault and it should be immediately returned to the store for inspection.
Hopefully your phone isnt jailbroken so u can just bring it back. No worries.
 
if you are no specialist then don't try to fix it, you might end up making things worse .
it is most probably a hardware defekt, and since it isn't a week old then just take it to an apple store and they should change it for you with a new one. this will be way better for you than getting it fixed cause, even if it got fixed it might do the whole thing all over again !
