Hi, I just purchased an iPhone with Telus last week and things have been working fine until 2 days ago, when I first noticed a problem. After a conference call, I pressed end call and after 15 or so seconds I tried to call other people making a normal call but theres no ringer or beep, its like as if I'm calling someone but waiting for the phone to beeep beeeeep to indiciate its dailing. Secondly, after this, I was wondering if my service died although the bars show that I have full service. I called my iphone with my home phone and after 2 rings it goes to "this user is unavailable and blah blah". However, after around 5 minutes or so, I don't know what I do or what happened, everything goes back to normal and works fine again. However, this problem has persisted 2 days later (to today), until this morning I realized sometimes I can't send messages anymore either, it says message send failed. After I coudln't send text messages anymore, i tried to call my phone again to see if its going to say unavailabe again, and indeed, it said that I'm currently unavailable. So after this, I tried to make calls from the iphone and indeed there was no beeping or ringing again. HOWEVER, I THINK all this issue resolves instantly when someone sends me a text. However, all these problems magically fix itself after around 5 minutes. Can someone tell me what I should do? I called telus and they said that on their side everythings updated and refreshed and up to date, they told me to go to an apple store to let them check if its the network or the phone. However I don't have an apple store near me, so what should I do? Just go to telus and get a new phone since its within 30 days? Or whats the problem? When I plug my phone into itunes, it doesnt tell me to update or anything meaning I have the latest things. TElus carrier 5.1 and firmware 3.1.2... HELPP

My first thought was that it was network related. You could call TELUS tech support again and see if that makes a difference. The other, and maybe best, choice would to do a device swap before the 30 days is up. Might just be a bad phone.
