I wanna buy the new Macbook Pro. I am now wondering whether to start with the 2.4 Ghz model (which I would upgrade from 2 to 4 GB RAM and increase the 250 GB hard drive speed from 5400 to 7200 RPM)
OR
to start with the 2.66 Ghz model (which I would downgrade the hard drive from 320 to 250 GB with the same speed of 7200 RPM).
I am just an average college student (though studying Engineering) and I am by no means a computer expert. However, I am upgrading from a crappy Windows XP Dell M70 that I've had nothing but problems with and all I want is a FAST, very NICE, EFFICIENT, and overall GREAT computer.
Any other input (not "Macs are overpriced" or "get a cheaper one") would be great! Thanks!
