Is a 2wheel drive dodge ram lower to to ground than a 4 wheel drive dodge ram?

We are looking to buy a truck I am just wondering before we drive up there because its a long drive.

It a 2001 Dodge Ram excab 1500 Laramie SLT V8 magnum

Yes the 2 wheel drive will be lower than the 4. The four wheel drive needs extra clearance for the front differential, drive shaft and the transfer-case.
